Hitchcock

I want to go out and buy every single Hitchcock movie! It's pretty interesting to see what goes on behind the camera, and the home life of Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife. Mrs. Hitchcock was a major part of all of his master pieces, and a key part of each movie.

This movie is about the making behind Psycho. And it will def. be nominated for awards!!!

I want everyone to go see this movie. It's a masterpiece with an AMAZING cast for such a low budget film!!!

Red Dawn (2012)

I'm the #1 Josh Hutcherson fan, so I probably enjoyed this movie more than a non-fan did! Joshy looked so little next to Chris Hemsworth and Josh Peck! Who ever did the casting, was spot on! Even though Josh P and Chris played brothers, they didnt even look slightly related.. so that sorta bothered me.
I havent seen the original Red Dawn so theres nothing to compare it too, and I didnt want to ruin the new one by seeing the original first.

I thought the story-line was great, and so was the acting. I gasped quite alot during this movie, because of the surprising turn of event. It was sad to see come people die, but its almost a given in the situation they were in. I also teared up towards the end. There was some pretty funny parts, and great actions scenes!

I'd say, SEE THIS MOVIE...but Ive heard mixed reviews.. sooo check it out for yourself!

You be the judge!

Life of Pi

INCREDIBLE! This movie was insanely amazing. The story is soooo captivating, and you get so attached to the characters, especially Pi, who's stranded on a lifeboat with a Bangle Tiger, Richard Parker. Pi's family ran a zoo in India, and they had to sell it, so they are moving to Canada and shipping all the animals with them to sell. Theres a storm and the boat starts sinking, Pi gets on a life boat, and some there are some unexpected animals who join him.

I cried about 3 times during this movie, because of the horrible things that happened on that boat. I dont think I could hang on to life, as long as he did.

Honestly, this is probably going to be Best Picture or win some sort of award. This movie made me feel so emotionally drained afterwards, I just wanted to go home and sit down and do nothing. It had such an impact.

Its so hard to explain how this movie affects you, and incredible the story is.

SEE IT OPENING DAY!

The All-American Rejects Concert ft. Matt Toka

Im soooo glad Im able to say that I went to this concert!! Front row, at the Marquee theater.

Opening act was Matt Toka! Before Wednesday I never heard of him, or his music..now I'm obsessed with his song 666!! His songs are pretty catchy and good! I touched his arm, my friend Allysha put her hand on his stomach, and he sang in my other friend, Tori's, face! It was pretty great! He came out into the crowd which was super cool!!  Allysha got the drummers drum stick after we all yelled "WE LOVE THE DRUMMER!"  *Matt, hows your butt feeling? lol*

I was lucky enough to meet The All-American Rejects about 4 years ago at WetSeal, and they signed my CD! Tyson Ritter, singer, told me to "GYM IT UP" because I just came from a gymnastics meet and still had my leotard on! Now "gymitup" is my username for almost everything, including one of my emails..... lol

The All-American Rejects came on and it was mind-blowing! Im pretty sure Tyson looked at us a couple of times! I got Nicks Guitar pick with Dexters(his dog) paw print on the back, and Tori got the drummers drum stick!!! I knew just about every song, except for two. I lost my hearing and voice, but honestly I dont care! Best concert I've ever been too, yes, better than Bieber. Ive been a fan for such a long time, and this was the first time Ive ever seen them live...and it made my life soooo much better. I wish I could relive this night everyday!! I tried to get a setlist, but no such luck!! BUT I was able to get a Meet&Greet! I told Tyson about the last time I met him and the GYMITUP story..and that while in China this past summer, at the Hard Rock Cafe, their music video came on, and Me and Tori freaked out!! I wish I asked Nick if i could pet little Dexter but I dont know what he would've said...

anywaysss... BEST CONCERT!!! I need more AAR concerts in my lifeeeeee.
EVERYONE GO BUY MATT TOKA'S MUSIC, AND THE KIDS IN THE STREET ALBUM FROM THE REJECTS.

Here are some of the good pictures I took!

The signed album that I rocked out to in China!

The Light in the Piazza (DHS play)

Pre-show:
This play is very intimate. The seating is on the stage and we get up close and personal with the cast. Can't wait to see what this amazing group of kids can show us.

Show:

Wow! I knew that this play took place in Italy but I had no idea they'd be speaking Italian!! I give every single actor props because that's very difficult to do! The singing abilities of these guys are incredible! Dobson just keeps on surprising!
The songs are great, and the performance is outstanding! I really enjoy the fact that they are so close to the crowd. It makes you feel like your in Florence!
I love this play, even though its not a mainstream one that everyone would know. It's actually pretty funny! You go through a bunch of emotions.

Great job to Codi, Kyle, Brennan, Matt, Connor, Alanna, Nadia, Michael, Brandy, Whitney, Amanda, Riley, Natalie, and Xelha. Also great job to any other actors and the people behind the curtains who help the play go off without a hitch!A special congrats and a thank you to Mr. Navarro for putting this together and having it turn out so perfectly!! Keep up the GREAT work, cant wait for the next play!!

heres just a little overview(take off the invite)

THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA takes place in Italy in the summer of 1953. Margaret Johnson, the wife of an American businessman, is touring the Tuscan countryside with her daughter, Clara. While sightseeing, Clara-a beautiful, surprisingly childish young woman-loses her hat in a sudden gust. As if guided by an unseen hand, the hat lands at the feet of Fabrizio Naccarelli, a handsome Florentine, who returns it to Clara. This brief episode, charged with coincidence and fate, sparks an immediate and intense romance between Clara and Fabrizio. Margaret, extremely protective of her daughter, attempts to keep Clara and Fabrizio apart. As THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA unfolds, a secret is revealed: in addition to the cultural differences between the young lovers, Clara is not quite all that she appears. Unable to suppress the truth about her daughter, Margaret is forced to reconsider not only Clara's future, but her own hopes as well.
