The Fault In Our Stars: movie review AND SIGNED BOOK, and movie poster

This movie was honestly the best and closest book to movie adaption! They obviously had to change and get rid of a few things, but some things they didn't mention were in the backgrounds and were there for those who read the book.

John Green is my favorite author, and I was so excited to see this movie of my favorite book.

Seeing Shai, Ansel, and Nat as Hazel, Gus, and Isaac, was perfect. They understood their characters so well, and I'm happy they were casted for the roles. They really felt their characters, and projected so perfectly. Definitely award winning!! Shai was the perfect Hazel, no one could have played her better than she did! Ansel was also perfect! He was exactly how I pictured Gus. And Nat, even though he doesnt have blonde hair, was a perfect Isaac. They all carried their characters exactly how I pictured- if not better!

I've seen it twice now, and read the book, and I still cry - even though I know whats coming. I get all wrapped up in the story, and the feelings. Definitely not a let down either-it lives up to all the hype!

This movie is perfect for all teens, and adults. (Some kids might not understand the subject matter.)

This movie is already very long, and they had to take out a few things..but I'm sad my favorite quote wasn't in it.

"My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations."

7/5 GLASSES!! THANK YOU JOHN GREEN!!!!!

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! AND BRING TISSUES! (Good luck)

Divergent

Although I haven't read the book, like I planned to before seeing the movie, I loved it.

At the screening, there was a Red Carpet, where Miles Teller and Jai Courtney (Peter and Eric) came, and talked to some fans, and press about the movie! I was lucky enough to get Miles' autograph in my book! I tried to get good pictures but the lighting wasn't great and when they were on stage, they never really looked to the side I was on. After we were let in the theater, and the movie was about to start, Miles and Jai came in and announced the movie.

Since, I didn't read the book, I didn't know what the Factions were, and what the symbols meant. I thought they explained it very well and I understood. But, in the trailer they said she's "Divergent" and said she had to hide where they wouldnt expect to find her, so when she was jumping into the whole, I thought thats where all the Divergents go but it not, so that was a little confusing.

I really liked Four's character, and how he watched out for Tris. But it was soooo awkward watching her last stage of training, her last 'Fear', because once she's  given that serum, they can watch on monitors whats happening in her brain and what she sees, and Four was there watching. (you'll understand once you watch it!!!)

I really wanted to read the book before watching it, but I think I'll still read it, so I know everything there is to know for Insurgent and Allegiant!!

I cried, I laughed, I gasped, I covered my mouth in astonishment, I'm pretty sure I went through every emotion while watching this movie. And I got so sucked into it, it didn't even seem like it was over 2hrs long, I never got bored, and I never felt like it got "slow" in some areas.

The cast was fantastic! I can't wait to see Ansel and Shailene in TFIOS this June, and then Insurgent!!!

I think this is probably one of the "Movies Of The Year" and def. one of my top movies of all time!!

Mr. Peabody and Sherman

I really wanted to see this movie, because it looked funny and I loved the cast. But I thought it would be funnier than it was.

I know kids liked it, because they laughed at everything, even the jokes that only the parents/adults should get, and you could tell they only laughed because their parents were. There was some good comedy in there, and a cool story line.

It was a little bit of a letdown, but it's a great babysitting movie!!

Take the kids!

3 Days to Kill

If you read my reviews you'd know Comedy is my all time favorite genre of movie, and action isn't. But I saw this movie for the sole reason that Hailee Steinfeld( True Grit, Ender's Game, Romeo and Juliet) is in it, and she's my favorite teen actress! I ended up really enjoying this movie!

There's A LOT of action(but in a good way) and there is some good comedy too!

I was very happy that Hailee was in a large part of the movie.. And not just a few scenes!

It was kind of hard to understand some of the lines that were said, but can you always understand what people say when their talking? And also, a lot of people say they don't understand the name.. It is said twice in the movie, but they probably could have chosen a better  title.

I think this is kind of a guy movie, but girls who like action will love it!

I'll probably buy it on DVD!!

Endless Love

While on my trip to LA for my birthday, YouTuber Ingrid Nilsen (@missglamorazzi) was hosting a screening of Endless Love.

Even though remakes are usually worse, I found this movie to be very good, and I liked the way the charged the characters from the original version.

I was laughing, smiling, and gasping throughout this movie. I thought I wasn't going to like it, and it would be like every other love story... but it wasn't. I thought was very original, heartwarming and cute!

I would recommend this to alllllll teenage girls, and young couples for Valentine's Day!

That Awkward Moment

I really enjoyed this movie! There are some inappropriate scenes, but lots of comedy! I love Zac Efron and Miles Teller, so I was very excited to see this movie when I heard about it!

Miles has a really funny line, that most people missed or didnt laugh at, but my friend Hannah and I thought it was hilarious!! "I was voted Most Likely to have best eyes"

I think this is a great movie for girls, and maybe couples. And I think most people would enjoy it!

I don't think young teens or kids should see it, because of the content --but probably will go because its Zac Efron and he's gorgeous!

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

I really enjoyed the first movie, but this movie was way funnier!!!

I think that people who haven't really even seen the first one or have seen parts of it can still this one, and everything would make sense.
--you'd just need to know that this local news crew is from San Diego, and Ron and Veronica are together.

My favorite scenes:
Where Brick was forecasting the weather on St. Patricks day and was wearing green, and then he doesn't have legs, and falls to the floor twice
When Ron kept saying he's blind
When Jack Lime (James Marsden) had to change his name to Jack Lame,
and when the little boy was crying towards the end.

This movie is very racists, and inappropriate, but literally hilarious. I cried of laughter.

I don't think this movie is in any way suitable for kids, and young teenagers. I def. think that people who are 15 or older should see it.

GO see this movie!!

(ps..if you haven't seen the full cast list, then you'll be in for a huge surprise towards the end)

Catching Fire

Holy crap!!

I  read this book about 2 years ago and just reread it before watching this movie, and I am just blown away. I thought it was a lot better than Hunger Games, and had a A LOT of action!!

The actors were literally perfect for their roles, and the arena was better than I imagined it!!

Reading the book, more than half of it takes place before the game and I was wondering how they were going to show all the important details but I think they took out just the right amount of stuff which made it perfect. There were a few people they took out, a few added, details removed, and scenes shortened, but it was all nessesary and worked out in the end.

There are some pretty hilarious scenes with Effie, especially at the party at Snow's house!!! :) My friends and I pretty much died of laughter!!

I cried about 5 times during it, and got so caught up into the story, my friend forgot we were web at the movies.. She thought she was reading the book!!

Sam and Jena were SOO good as Finnick and Johanna!! Mags was soo cute, and Nuts and Volts did a great job! Jena's elevator scene was perfect and hilarious!!

I was looking at the cast on IMDB, and I saw Jack Quaid (Marvel) on there and didn't understand why he was in the movie... But the scene you see him was done soooo well!! You'll be surprised!!

I still can't get over this movie and how incredible it was!! Even though it's over 2 1/2 hrs long, I didn't ever feel tired, and I was on the edge of my chair the whole time!!

This won't be a spoiler if you read the books, but I cried at: Peeta, Cinna, Mags, Gale, and District 11 tour. My favorite scenes were the interviews with Caesar, training and the evaluation,  jabberjays in the arena, the monkeys, and Peeta and the force field.

I think anyone and everyone should see his movie!! It's literal perfection.
10/5 glasses!!! Mind is still blown, and still speechless. At the end, they show the mockingjay pin transition from each of the books, and it made me sooo excited for Mockingjay!!

The Book Thief

I am personally very interested in the holocaust, so when I heard about this movie I knew I wanted to see it. I haven't read the book, but after seeing this movie I really really want to. I knew I'd cry... But I wasn't prepared for all the tears that came out of my eyes.

I really enjoyed this movie, I honestly think this movie is equivalent to War Horse, it was very powerful and made a huge impact on me. I know it will win many awards, it deserves it!

The little girl who played Liesel was very good, even with a straight face she had SOO much expression, and made the movie so enjoyable to watch..

You probably will cry, so don't wear mascara, and bring tissues... But it's so good that the pros weigh out the cons and it's a must see!

Ender's Game

I have not read the book, and didnt really know what the was behind this movie, I just knew that Hailee Steinfeld, Asa Butterfield, Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, and Abigail Breslin were in it. I was surprised to see Moises Arias, and Viola Davis!! But the rest of the cast was fantastic and did amazing.

Once again, without reading the book, I thought the casting was incredible and perfect as the characters they played. I absolutely loved this movie, and I WILL be seeing it again, and this time in IMAX!! I really enjoyed the training area where they would have battles against other teams within the training academy.

I thought that Asa was perfect, and really made Ender perfect, his wit and "attitude" was on point. Hailee, still my all-time favorite, did a great job as Petra!!

I gasped, I was stunned, I was shocked, I was confused(in a good way), and just BLOWN AWAY!! I really enjoyed this movie and could watch it anytime, any day.

I really have nothing bad to say about this movie!!

This movie is really for all ages, I guess some images might be a little much for kids, like the Mind Games he plays on a tablet type electric, but other than that ITS PERFECT!!

6/5 GLASSES!! I WILL BE READING THAT BOOK NOW!!
