Prometheus

Prometheus was different. It wasn't bad but not what I was expecting. I only saw a.v.p and I don't really remember it all that well. Prometheus is a prequel to Aliens, which I haven't seen so i didn't really have that connection that people who saw Aliens did.

It had some really good "gross" scenes and some that made you say EEWW out loud!

It was wasn't my favorite, but the guy who plays Charlie was cute! I'm still not a fan or Charlize Theron but I guess I've just got to get over it!

  1. It amazes me how everyone keeps getting it wrong, it's as if you guys just choose to not listen or read what facts are out there.

Your wrong about it being a prequel, indeed the original script by Jon Spaihts was indeed to be a prequel to Aliens. But around July 2010 Damon Lindelof came on board to redevelop Spaihts's screenplay into a more original work. Ridley Scott even came out and said "while Alien was indeed the jumping-off point for this project, out of the creative process evolved a new, grand mythology and universe in which this original story takes place. The keen fan will recognize strands of Alien's DNA, so to speak, but the ideas tackled in this film are unique, large and provocative." Later in early summer of 2011, Scott and Lindelof confirmed that Prometheus takes place in the same universe as the events of the Alien series. In July 2011, Scott stated that "by the end of the third act of Prometheus the viewer will start to realize there’s a DNA of the very first Alien, but none of the subsequent films".
