The Possession

This movie isn't a 'scary' movie per say.. But it's pretty creepy! I got the chills and goose bumps during this movie because its creepy! I covered my face, I could still sorta see but wanted to limit my vision, because I didn't want to be scared or startled! There isn't much to say about this movie... I guess it didn't really that big of an impact on me. But it was a good movie in the way they had the demon possessing her. They haven't really shown the actual possessing 'thing' or demon in any other movie but this one. ( that I know of) So the demon may creep you out... Just a fair warning..




Obviously not for kids..

But note to self: don't buy a creepy box with hebrew writing on it! :(

Hit and Run

So the commercials say its funnier than the hangover and bridesmaids combined.... Yeah it's a good movie if you want to chuckle and smile but it's not as 'hilarious' as I was hoping but I still really enjoyed it!!

I loved how Dax and Kristen called each other 'buddy' in the movie! And the relationship that they have before she finds out his past was just the CUTEST! Kristen did an amazing job.. As always!!

Def. a dude movie because of the cars and speed but there's a bit of romance in there that would be good for some girls.

Possibly a good movie for date night if the girl wants to take her man out! Or a boys night out!

Lawless

First of all it's crazy to think that this is based off a true story. The history in this movie is crazy spot on! I loved all the action and you got pretty attached to the characters in this movie. I think mainly because of the POWER cast, is why you get attached. Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Shia Labeouf, Jessica. Chastain, and a bunch of others!

Shia did an AMAZING job and really deserves awards! Tom had a GREAT accent and played his role perfectly! All his grunting and "Uhh" sounds were literally PERFECT, and gave the scenes some humor!

Not for kids: nudity, cussing, illegal acts and LOTS of blood! :)

This movie really isn't for kids. I'd say it way to scary and the topic is to mature for a PG movie. There's cuss words and scary images that would scare kids!

Little children DO NOT GO.

I am 16 and I jumped at parts.

Good teen movie, I think we'd really enjoy this movie.

It had a really good moral story. Adults and teens are for sure the target group for this movie! I'd go back and see it again! There references to Mike Myers, and other older movies are great but little kids won't get them at all.

Favorite character has to be the older brother to Neal, I want to say his name is Derek... Could be wrong.. But he was funny!

We did have issues with the 3D, the theater didn't have it focused right and so we basically missed any jokes or something.

HUNGER GAMES DVD

Who else is super excited to buy their copy of The Hunger Games?! It comes out on the 18th!!!!! There are a couple of places like Walmart that are doing release parties at midnight! Be sure to go to one! It will be a blast!

I preordered mine about 6 months ago! I hope I get it ASAP!

Dobson high Car wash

Dobson high is holding a car wash to help James Robinsons family with funeral costs. He just recently passed earlier this week! We need that mustang power now more than ever! We need to stick together and be a family, help out our siblings!

HILARIOUS.

Def. not for children, but I'd say it's for high school and up!

I was at the point of crying of laughter at the scene with Zach, the wife and the two children are at the dinner table telling truths! It took awhile for the entire theater to calm down after that one!

I absolutely loved this movie, comedy of the year, WITH OUT A DOUBT! Fantastic summer movie!!

Updates

Today we went to the satchmo festival and got to appreciate the history and power behind jazz! Happy birthday Louis Armstrong!

We had dinner at Jax, and had the most amazing waitress, Kasi! I'm honestly glad I met you! I loved how open and honest you are! I wish you all the luck in school! She's studying to become a physical therapist! (which, I'm glad there are PTs because of all my injuries!) honestly I hope to keep our relationship/friendship going!! Have a safe drive home into the country!

If you go to Jax ask for Kasi! She's the best!!!

I've had the best experience here, pepper palace, capt Gary, Norm, Melanie and now Kasi!

Update

For those who don't know I'm currently in New Orleans, staying in the French Quarter! I arrived Thursday afternoon!

Quick little update: (actual posts coming later)

We checked into our hotel and met this one amazing women, Melanie! She has given us the best pointers and places to go! Thanks for making this experience alot better! Yesterday in Pepper Palace I talked to the nicest young lady! I loved her hair and I hope shes in the store when income back to buy some cinnamon and honey sauce! I went on a swamp tour today with the best captain ever! Cap Gary! I'm currently at dinner at the hard rock! I have the best waiter on earth, Norm! Thanks for taking an interest in my blog! Hope to hear from you soon! I hope you enjoy those glasses!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

Fantastic!! I absolutely love this movie. It's hilarious and both kids and parents will both enjoy it!! I was crying at one part because it's so funny!

Honestly I'm going to tell all my friends to see this movie.. There's so much comedy kids will get, that teens will get and kids may not, and comedy that adults may only get.

I loved the Justin Bieber tribute towards the end.

My favorite wimpy kid movie by far!!!!!

Red Lights

This movie had a surprising well known cast but it's by one of those huge movies like Harry Potter or G.I.Joe that everyone knows about and is excited to see. This is more of a low key movie.. But the subject is anything but. Its about studying paranormal activity. The two main characters do tests and find fraud psychic. Sigourney Weaver (margaret matheson) and Cillian Murphy(Tom Buckley), are the two main characters who try to prove Simon Sliver ,( Robert De Niro),is a fraud.

There are some jumpy moments and some boring parts too.

Summer movie to see when your bored.

It's good, but not for everyone.
